Welcome to TDLang Photography!

Thank you for coming in and having a look around, I hope that you like what you see!

I was given my first camera as a youth and loved photography from the beginning. While I had always intended to travel the world as a photojournalist, life is never quite what you plan and I ended up travelling the world studying art and archaeology instead, always with camera in hand, of course! I received from the University of British Columbia both a B.A. and an M.A. in Classical Studies & Classical Archaeology with a strong interest in art history. I chose to continue my graduate studies with the Art History and Archaeology department at the University of Missouri~Columbia. There I received more comprehensive training in art history and theory, and worked as a teaching assistant for several years for a Western Art History course.

After making the difficult decision to leave my program to start a family with my husband, I was looking for a new career path. My daughter, Bryony, became my muse as my passion for photography was rediscovered all over again. I wished to be able to capture her childhood forever, creating high quality artistic photographs for my family and friends...and that is where this journey began.

I am currently completing my program with the New York Institute of Photography, where I have been training in all aspects of photography. Photographing people and especially children, however, remains my passion.

My goal is to ensure a relaxed and fun photo session, during which I capture this moment in time for you and your loved ones to keep forever. Book your session today so that you too can treasure forever this precious and fleeting moment in time.
