Studio sessions run between 60 and 90 minutes, but I continue until I am satisfied that I have images that will please you and as long as everyone is still comfortable and enjoying themselves. You are welcome to bring an outfit change or two, in order to achieve different moods and effects for your portraits and, to that end, I also have multiple backdrops for you to choose from. I like to talk to you before your session, so I can be sure to provide you with the photos that you want. I encourage that you bring snacks or special toys for young children to keep them happy. If it is necessary to take a break and relax any unhappy campers, I never punch a clock. A happy relaxed child makes for a much more successful photo session! Please keep in mind that any toys or dolls you bring, may end up in your child's photographs...so be sure that they have a special meaning or that they will add to rather than detract from the photograph.

It is wonderful to be able to take photos at a place that has special significance for your family. You may decide to set your session at one of our beautiful beaches, a local park or your own garden. Location sessions often involve moving around different settings and working to find appropriate lighting, as a result plan for approximately 90 mins. after arrival at our destination. Keep in mind that for location sessions we have less control over the lighting, and in most cases I will recommend early morning or just before dusk to photograph on site. Location sessions may also have to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
